Before treatment
Detailed pre-treatment instructions will be shared on confirmation of your appointment, including guidance on alcohol, exercise, skincare and any medication considerations.
After treatment — general guidance
You may experience mild redness, swelling or tenderness at the treatment site. These typically settle within hours to a few days.
- Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for the period advised.
- Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for 24–48 hours.
- Avoid facials and active skincare for the period advised.

Please contact us if you notice severe or worsening pain, unusual swelling, blanching, or signs of infection. Personalised contact details are provided after treatment.
When to seek urgent medical help
Seek urgent NHS care (call 111 or 999) for symptoms such as breathing difficulty, severe facial swelling, sudden vision changes, or any other medical emergency.
